Peter Helck: Trucking

The illustrator Peter Helck was known for his expert renderings of machinery, especially trucks, trains and aircraft. He had a life-long fascination beginning as a boy in New York City watching the steam trains near Grand Central Station around the turn of the century. Later, his interests turned to painting and he became a commercial success with industrial subjects. Here's a little sampling of his advertising illustrations.
